Mr Tom Ritchie

Having graduated from Bath University with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science in 2012 and completing my PGCE at Chichester University in 2013, I started my career in PE. However, a year later, I transitioned into Geography, as I found that classroom teaching and my love for the outdoors were my main passions. I soon became Key Stage 3 lead and then Head of Department, where I supported a number of colleagues and other departments in teaching pedagogy and school improvement.

In my spare time, I try to play golf to a handicap of 3, find opportunities to go to the gym, and enjoy spending days out with my young family.

In my role at Chichester High School, I focus on teaching and learning, and now as KS3 RSL, I aim to raise the profile of KS3 assessment, outcomes, and curriculum intent.
