What is the Safer Schools App?

The app is designed to keep you informed about the ever-changing landscape of social media and technology. It provides parents and carers with:

  • Platform Guides: Interactive insights into the latest apps and social media platforms.

  • Expert Advice: Practical guidance on critical issues such as cyberbullying, gaming safety, and online reputations.

  • Device Security: Step-by-step instructions on how to make your home Wi-Fi and your child's devices more secure.

  • Digital Proficiency: In-app tests to help you build your confidence in managing your family's digital life.

How to Access the App

Safer Schools for Parents

The app is free to download and features tailored environments for parents, staff, and students.

  1. Open the App: Once downloaded, open the Safer Schools app
  2. Select Your Role: When prompted, select your user role, which is "Parents/Carers Secondary"
  3. Enter details: Full Name and email address.
  4. Scan the QR Code within the App
  5. Select Chichester High School
  6. If needed, the Parent/Carer code is 2613

    Important: Enable Notifications 
    We strongly recommend enabling push notifications within the app. This allows you to receive high-priority alerts regarding new digital risks, sudden changes to social media privacy settings, or emerging apps your child may be using.
