Mrs Julie Silcock

I have taught at Chichester High School for many years and have worked with many talented, successful, and committed staff and pupils.

I qualified with a BA (Hons) in History from Bangor University, UCNW, completed my PGCE at the West Sussex Institute for Higher Education, and hold an NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headteachers).

The most valuable qualifications I’ve gained have come from working with and leading many teams: the History Department, Humanities Faculty, KS3 Heads of Department, and currently KS4 Departments as the Raising Standards lead. Most recently, leading our ACE Team to Gold Accreditation has enhanced my expertise in supporting our most disadvantaged pupils and helping them to THRIVE at CHS.

Most importantly, I am committed to achieving the best possible experience and outcomes for all our pupils at Chichester High School.
